Connecting field wiring to PLC inputs and Outputs is a specialized area of electrical wiring. PLC terminations are delicate and are close together. Care is needed to unsure wiring is landed in the proper location and the termination points are not damaged. PLC input and output cards can be damaged if the incorrect circuit is connected to them. It is important to have the ability to read electrical drawings and be familiar with the architecture of wiring schematics. PLC wiring is not a job anyone can do. Special training is essential to know what is required.
