Pump Controls

Newer pump controls can enhance the operation a pump motor. Flow monitoring controls and system pressure sensors are used to match the speed of the motor and its pumping abilities to the flow demands of the system. Energy efficient electronic motor starters reduce operating expenses and prolong the life of the motor. This is achieved by reducing the mechanical stress on the motor during the starting process and saving energy.

Daley Electric has been working with pumps and controls for many years. Many pumps are being updated to operate with electronic soft starters or variable speed drives. This will save energy and to enhance the performance of the pump. Pump motors are changed to newer more efficient types that specifically operate effectively with electronic drives or soft starters. Pumps usually operate with remote or automated speed control. Older control systems are sometimes updated to interface with the newer systems. These new control systems can be monitored or adjusted over the internet.
